Now that the plans to house migrants at Scampton have been dropped, I am encouraging the Government to work alongside West Lindsey District Council to secure the future of the site.

RAF Scampton has immense potential for defence industries alongside the variety of components in the redevelopment plan we have worked years to craft.

I will keep up the pressure on ministers to release the site for renewal as soon as possible.
