I have just had a productive meeting with the Lincolnshire NHS Integrated Care Board. I sought reassurance on waiting times at A&E Lincoln Hospital and was assured that they were on the case with innovative ways of tackling the long waits, which are clearly unacceptable, particularly for the elderly. I was also assured of the future of John Coupland Hospital Gainsborough and I pressed the case for modern technology boosting small hospitals. I also sought reassurance on waiting times for minor, non-urgent operations. Many months of delay causes pain and worry.
