It is great that the Minister for Crime and Policing has agreed to a £100 million grant to Lincolnshire Police, alongside an additional £12 million per year. We have been campaigning for this, and it was much needed and will help to provide important jobs.
However, when reorganising police districts, we must not do away with small police forces, and should invest in old fashioned policing, not endless unnecessary woke courses and time-consuming bureaucracy.
