It is vital that Hospices are funded properly and given enough resources and of fundamental importance that the provision of high quality palliative care is a priority. That is why I went along to the fund hospices properly event in Parliament and showed my support for the cause. 

If hospices were provided with the appropriate amount of money required then the argument in favour of assisted dying would greatly be weakened as terminally ill people would be allowed to die in comfort and with dignity, as provided by the many outstanding hospices we have up and down the country - including here in Lincolnshire.
