A vital issue for Lincolnshire. In some of the more remote parts of my constituency, there is still a limited mobile telephone signal, this issue is further exacerbated by the fact that over the past decade many red telephone boxes have been disconnected, leaving residents of many deeply rural localities in a difficult situation. This issue of connectivity also extends to broadband. In my contribution to the debate on this subject, I suggest that we should encourage the Government to put more resources into working with District Councils like West Lindsey into improving these issues in those hard to reach rural communities.
