Sir Edward Leigh, the Conservative Member of Parliament for Gainsborough, has called for a radical overhaul of the Post Office to give power to local postmasters.

I warned that unless the European Court of Human Rights returns to the original Convention and gives up trying to stop Rwanda flights pressure will grow for us to leave the Council of Europe as we left the European Union.

Sir Edward Leigh, the Conservative Member of Parliament for Gainsborough, has questioned Education ministers on the proposal to house illegal migrants at RAF Scampton.

Sir Edward Leigh has met with local elected representatives and officials to discuss legal moves to preserve the regeneration deal at RAF Scampton and prevent illegal migrants being housed there.

Sir Edward Leigh has voiced his support for West Lindsey District Council's plan to take the Home Office to court in order to defend the £300 million regeneration deal which has been agreed for RAF Scampton.

Sir Edward Leigh, the Conservative Member of Parliament for Gainsborough, has met with the Prime Minister to discuss the proposal to house illegal migrants at RAF Scampton in Sir Edward's constituency.

I visited RAF Scampton today.

We've been told no decision has been taken on housing illegal migrants at the site but it is rumoured that some work has been done on the fence.

I've requested to see the Prime Minister over this as an announcement might be imminent.

Sir Edward Leigh MP was pleased to welcome former Prime Minister Boris Johnson to his Gainsborough constituency today.

"It was a great privilege to welcome Boris to Lincolnshire today," the MP said.

Sir Edward Leigh, the Conservative Member of Parliament for Gainsborough, has suggested a radical reform to Post Office Ltd in order to hand power to local postmasters.

Speaking in response to a ministerial statement, Sir Edward described Post Office Ltd as "not fit for purpose".
